James Kendall

James came up with the idea for CabMatch after experiencing first-hand how difficult it can be to find and compare prices for airport transfers. Like many people, he'd seen the endless posts on local Facebook groups — "Can anyone recommend a reliable taxi to Heathrow?" — and thought: there has to be a better way.
What makes James's perspective unique is that he's been on both sides of the transaction. As a licensed private hire driver — previously licensed with Fareham Borough Council and currently holding a licence with Eastleigh Borough Council — he understands exactly what operators deal with day-to-day, and what customers need when they're trying to get from A to B reliably.
With a background in setting up and running businesses, James built CabMatch to be genuinely useful to both sides: a platform where customers get real, comparable prices without the faff, and where operators get a fair, affordable route to more customers.
